License Activation Issues

In case the license activation fails due to a network outage, the portal displays a short error message during the activation. The portal then redirects itself to the Licenses Page where a new option is available, Continue License Transfer.

With this option, the portal can pick up any open license activation and complete it.

Refreshing Licenses Page

There is a known behavior on the Licenses Page, that it automatically refreshes the browser window every few seconds. This happens when no CodeMeter Runtime software is installed on the computer the License Portal is opened.

To resolve this issue, either install the CodeMeter Runtime, that can be downloaded from the Account section, or switch to a different page in the portal and then go back to the Licenses Page.

Changing WIBU CodeMeter Runtime

When changing the CodeMeter Runtime version on a machine with a Software Container installed, the Software Container corrupts itself due to a security mechanism implemented. It is recommended to re-host the licenses back to the portal before performing the upgrade and using a new Software Container once the update is done.
