The following hardware components are required for the Gateway and Oracle Database Client. The requirements are separate, and only depicts the actual requirements needed to run each of the software installations.

Gateway
- There are no specific hardware requirements for Gateway. The hardware required and network interface is depending on how many Newsroom Systems and clients that use the gateway. However, it is strongly recommended that Gateway is installed on its own computer or server. Sharing space with other resource-intensive systems, for example a database, is not recommended.
Oracle Database Client
- Currently (for Oracle 11g) the requirements are listed as:

Note:

The Oracle database client is not necessary if you are connecting to Oracle via the Pilot Data Server.
